During the current public health crisis, the City of San Rafael remains committed to protecting the health and safety of community members and employees, while also striving to deliver public services to the greatest extent possible. The City has shutdown in-person customer service and public counters, including City Hall; however, the public can still call or email our office with questions. The City Manager's Office
We advise the City Council on policy matters and manage the operations of the City of San Rafael with economy, efficiency, equity and effectiveness. The City Manager's office carries out the policy and directions of the Mayor and City Council and supports the Council's efforts to engage in legislative advocacy on the local, state and national level, advocating the City's interests and increasing the City's influence as a leader in good government.
