Important News: Beginning in mid-November, renewal notices will be mailed to all businesses that currently have a license on file with the city. Renewals are due January 1, 2009. Those received after February 17, 2009 will be considered past due, and penalties will be assessed (10% of the tax due per month up to 60%). In addition, Administrative Citations of $325 (or more for repeat offenses) may be issued to delinquent businesses.
If you relocate your business from one location to another within city limits, you must fill out a new business license application which will be reviewed by zoning and fire safety officials. A processing fee must be included with the application ($96 for a commercial location; $64 for a residential location).
