Yes, typically one side of the roadway will be closed for several hours while the resurfacing mixture is applied and dries. Freitas Park Water Feature – Hours of Operation

The Freitas Park Splash Pad is open seasonally between Memorial Day and Labor Day, during the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm. During the operational season, the Splash Pad is on an automatic timer system. To enjoy the splash pad, hit the button near the entrance! The water will turn off automatically after a period of time.
