During the current public health crisis, the City of San Rafael remains committed to protecting the health and safety of community members and employees, while also striving to deliver public services to the greatest extent possible.
We are adapting and developing programs based on guidelines from the County Public Health Officer, which are updated regularly. We are working to ensure that our programs safely fit the needs of our community and are up-to-date.
The City has developed a temporary outdoor recreation class rental program to support San Rafael organizations and businesses that are looking to move their recreational classes outdoors, based on the County’s Guidelines for Outdoor Recreation Activity Businesses. Based on recent changes to the County's COVID-19 status, we are now able to offer limited indoor rental opportunities to recreation and faith-based programs. All programs must adhere to the relevant public health guidelines.
