This elegant three-story home, a blend of Queen Anne and Eastlake styles, was built in 1888. In 1906, Captain Robert Dollar purchased the estate and later it was named Falkirk in honor of his Scottish birthplace. The Cultural Center has served the Marin community since 1974.

Calling All Artists - Apply now for our upcoming exhibit "A Gathering of Color"
The Falkirk Cultural Center invites artists residing within the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area to submit their artwork for a special show, “A Gathering of Color” - a celebration of the profound impact color has on our emotions and experiences. We hope to fill our galleries with a multitude of artworks focusing on color, recognizing that we are drawn to combinations of colors and to the density of certain colors. How does color play a part in what you as artists create? We look forward to showcasing a kaleidoscope of artistic expression in our beautiful galleries. We welcome all mediums from collages, to paintings, to drawings to assemblages, to sculptures to fiber arts -- sorry we are not accepting jewelry or videography.
Apply online now at https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=12580. Digital entries, payment, and entry form must be received on or before midnight MST, December 11, 2023. If you have questions please email email@example.com or call (415)485-3328.
