Project Description
The proposed project is a redevelopment of an office complex site that consists of an existing office and two existing garage buildings, located at 4040 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael.
The project proposes to subdivide the overall site into 3 lots (Lot A, B, C); and to develop Lot B with a new residential building and an adaptive-reuse conversion from the existing office building to residential.
The project proposes residential development on Lot B to demolish the existing North Garage and build 125-unit rental apartments (Building 1) on the existing footprint. The existing office (Building 2) will be converted into 98 residential units and amenities. The existing South Garage (Buiding 3) will remain for residential parking and overflow parking.
