Sewer Permits
Sewer Application:
Please review San Rafael Sanitation's Standards & Specifications (2007)
Please fill out the Sewer Permit Application completely:
- Please include Method to be used (trenchless or pipe bursting), materials used (dimension and type) and approximate length of pipe replaced.
- Please also include a plan, drawing or map indicating where the existing or new backflow prevention device and/or cleanouts are located and location and approximate length of replaced sewer lateral.
- Please include Certificate of Insurance meeting our requirements (see below SRSD Insurance Requirements)
Completed forms, diagram and required insurance documents should be emailed to the San Rafael Sanitation District at SRSD@cityofsanrafael.org.
Sewer Inspection:
Contact us at 415-454-4001 or email SRSD@cityofsanrafael.org to schedule an inspection contact our office at least 72 hours in advance prior to the desired inspection date.
Sewer inspections are available mornings, Monday through Friday, except City holidays.
