The Sustainability Division updates the City Council and community annually on our community-wide greenhouse gas emissions through a standard "inventory" procedure. This helps us see how we're doing in terms of reductions toward our goals of a 40% reduction from 1990 by 2030 and a net-zero (100% reduction) target by 2045. We also provide input on specific actions and Council approved priorities the City has taken over the past year.

The most recent greenhouse gas inventories and presentations are below. There is generally at least a one-year delay in getting the data for community-wide GHG inventories. Consequently inventory reports are for the calendar year two years prior.
