Full trash capture device project

The City continues to study design alternatives for installing a full trash capture device in the Canal neighborhood. The project will place a trash capture device near the outflow where pump stations discharge water into the bay so that the City can comply with new law that requires us to reduce trash reaching the bay. … Continued

Modifications for the Police Department evidence area

Beginning around mid-March, the Facilities team was asked by the Police Department to reconfigure their existing evidence cage to a new location as well as increase its size. Facilities team members Omar Garcia, Anthoney Heaven (pictured) and Michael Rieser all worked together on this project and completed the reconfiguration by the end of March.  And to assist in keeping costs down, all existing materials were reused.
