Visit us at the Counter

The Community and Economic Development Department is located on the third floor of City Hall. Our counter is open to the public with questions relating department business; come visit us! Check hours here.

Planning:

There are two ways to speak to a member of the planning staff:

1. Come to the counter in person: Monday – Friday during business hours.
2. Call (415) 485-3085 or email: community.development@cityofsanrafael.org

To speak to the planner working on a particular project, please refer to the directory found here and contact the staff person, directly. They will be happy to set up an appointment with you.

Building:  

To speak to a member of the building staff:

1. Come to the counter in person: Monday – Friday during business hours.
