  • Construction & Fire Inspections are Monday through Thursday only
  • Construction Hours (includes all deliveries):
    • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Sunday/Holidays: PROHIBITED BY LAW
  • To schedule Health Department, Planning, Public Works, Marin Municipal Water District or Sanitation District contact them directly
  • Inspections may be scheduled up to three business days out
  • Inspection can be scheduled or cancelled for current business day before 6:00 AM, otherwise, please call (415)485-3367 during business hours to cancel your inspection
  • Multiple inspections can be scheduled for multiple permits during a call
  • The inspection card is organized by inspection type and will list inspection codes as normally sequenced for most project
  • Inspection requests will be denied if fees are due; the permit has expired; and/or there is a hold on the project
  • The permit expires if no approved inspections are performed within the last 180 days
