The City of San Rafael Department of Public Works will be implementing a pilot one-way conversion on Embarcadero Way starting Monday, January 12, 2026. The pilot is planned to be in place for 3-4 months. During this time, vehicles will only be permitted to travel in the northeast direction on Embarcadero Way (uphill from Marina Court Drive to Mission Avenue). Before the end of the pilot project the City will request for feedback, in March 2026.
