Having an effective preventative maintenance program in place plays an important part when it comes to facility management. It also helps to keep equipment functioning properly/efficiently as well as ensure the safety of the equipment operator(s). Here we see Garage technician James Arieta performing regularly scheduled preventative maintenance work on one of Sanitation District Vactor trucks using our newly purchased mobile column lifts. Each column lift has a rated lifting capacity of 18,500lbs, and when using four of them it will lift all of our heavy duty trucks in the City’s fleet. The vehicle maintenance staff does a great job of keeping on top of these necessary inspections and repairs to ensure City vehicles remain safe and in compliance.
