Art Wonder Camp with Nikki Contini
This camp is all about following the ‘wonder’ and using a wide variety of expressive mediums to spark imagination and creative expression. Students will be diving into Nikki's treasure trove of materials including up-cyclables, clay, wood, canvas, paint, glass, wire, paper and other unique found objects to create one of a kind art projects of all shapes and sizes. Each day, we will focus on different materials and techniques, often inspired by contemporary artists while encouraging students to create from their own visions and areas of interest using the materials provided. What will emerge? Sculpture, painting, masks, jewelry, treasure boxes, unique structures, animals, fantasy...etc. , We will safely create, explore, laugh, listen to music and let the Wonder shine on through! Returning campers are welcome- new projects will be introduced and some past favorites!
*All Campers will have their own art kits to minimize sharing of tools, and all Covid safety guidelines followed. We will have breaks for snacks and movement outside.
