Camp TL
Join the fun at Terra Linda Community Center and Park this summer! Kids will have fun with arts and crafts, swimming time, park time and fun-filled games each week. Camp will be held both outdoors and indoors with access to one designated classroom. Campers must be entering 1st to entering 3rd grade and be 6 to 9 years of age. Please pack a snack, lunch, non-glass water bottle and sunscreen. Closed toes shoes are required as exposed toes can get hurt while playing games.
Junior Lifeguard Camp
Junior Lifeguards will learn the skills needed to help and respond in emergencies. Instructors will provide an introduction to water rescues, entries, head and back injuries and first aid. Junior Lifeguards will work on their swimming skills and endurance so they can be the best they can be when it's time to respond and will get a chance to shadow a lifeguard and serve as extra eyes on the pool. Games, team building and new fun challenges daily. Participants must be able to swim at least two lengths of the pool and be able to submerge to the bottom of the pool with little assistance. Participants should pack a lunch, swim suit and towel along with closed-toed shoes and sunscreen. This program is for those that enjoy being at the pool, working with others and want to learn what it takes to be a lifeguard.
The NA of A All Sports camp by the National Academy of Athletics
Whether your child is a beginner or a more advanced player, this multi-sport camp is a perfect place for kids to be introduced to the world of sports, teamwork and athletics! Games we play may include, baseball, basketball, dodgeball, soccer, flag football, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, relay & obstacle races and a whole lot more. Your children will learn new skills while having a blast and making new friends.
Summer Fun with Clay
Summer outdoor fun with clay and crafts! Use your imagination and explore the amazing world of clay, paint with beautiful and colorful glazes, play and tell stories in exploring the world of collaging and other fun crafts.
Instructor Nadia Tarzi-Saccardi, is an award-winning artist and the director for the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists program since 2017. Nadia first studied ceramics and sculpture forty years ago in Strasbourg, France and for the last 15 years has been teaching ceramics to adults and children across the Bay Area. She was recently awarded the Best of Marin 2020, 2021 and 2022 for Best Art Instructor, Best Art Studio and Best Artist. Visit: http://www.terralindaceramicartists.com. Volleystart Camps
Simply Marin's best volleyball camp for this age group, this is an intensive, fast-paced camp that develops the skill and love needed for the game of volleyball. Kids will have a great time with games, contests, prizes, and a bunch of other activities with the best coach to player ratio (4-1) of any volleyball camp in Marin. Led by Hall of Fame volleyball coach and former Championship-winning head coach for UC Berkeley Men's Volleyball team, Kevin Seeley.
