The City’s administrative offices in City Hall, the San Rafael Public Library, and the City’s community centers will be closed on Thursday November 23 through Friday November 24 in observance of the holiday. 24-hour operations will remain in effect for the Police and Fire Departments.

Measure D – Special Library Parcel Tax Committee

The Measure D Special Library Parcel Tax Committee meets a few times a year with responsibility to act as an independent citizens oversight committee to ensure that the Library spends the funds from the parcel tax in a manner consistent with the language of the ballot measure that approved the tax.

Meetings: The Committee shall conduct at least two regular meetings a year.

Members of the Committee shall be at least 18 years of age and reside within the City limits. The Committee may not include any employee or official of the City, or any vendor, contractor or consultant doing business with the City.
