Center for Volunteer and Non-Profit Leadership

We are amazed by the outpouring of volunteer support and have so many potential helping hands! The Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is coordinating volunteers in Marin for this response effort. Please be patient as they field hundreds of calls. Please DO NOT show up at the Emergency Volunteer Center at the Marin Center unless you are contacted by CVNL first and received confirmation. There is still no need for donated goods/items. Monetary donations are being accepted by CVNL and being distributed directly to local charities supporting evacuees.

There are few volunteer opportunities in Marin, but this could change at any time. For both Marin and Napa counties, please sign-up online. CVNL will contact you directly via email or phone to give you further instructions (again, please do not call them at this point).

More information on the County’s efforts can be found in their press releases. You can also get up to date information by following the County’s Twitter feed: @maringov.
