First visiting City Hall, this person was told he needed to go across town to Public Works for an encroachment permit. He trekked over to Morphew only to discover that he also needed a business license to get an encroachment permit. Rather than sending him back to City Hall, Christine Foster, an Administrative Assistant at Public Works, remembered that he could get one online and handed him a laptop. He was able to complete his application online, which allowed Public Works to then accept his encroachment permit application without delay. Sometimes it’s the little things that go a long way. Excellent customer service, Christine!
