6/22/18 – SMART Update: Andersen Drive

SMART’s team has made great strides over the past several weeks in placing concrete, asphalt, and electrical equipment. The new traffic signal poles have been installed, and final testing of the traffic signal is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26^th.  Temporary paving will be in place until we get approval from Caltrans for final resurfacing in their right-of-way later this summer.  Andersen is scheduled to reopen on July 5^th.  SMART’s contractor will begin immediately to work on the Francisco Blvd West “flip”.  There will be occasional, temporary lane restrictions for remaining work at Andersen Drive.
