On Monday evening, the City Council will consider an agreement with SMART for the maintenance of the Quiet Zone-related improvements constructed at the crossings within the initial-operating segment. Also, on Wednesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. the San Rafael City Council will hold a study session workshop on projects relating to SMART in San Rafael. This meeting follows one held January 19, where the City Council heard a presentation from staff about a variety of topic areas including the relocation of the transit center, redesign of Andersen Drive, establishment of a Quiet Zone and more. This next meeting is intended to extend the conversation on these topics and hear from the public, staff and the City Council.
