Tonight, all of the residents who were displaced after the apartment fire transitioned from the shelter at Albert J. Boro Center into short term housing. Please refrain from bringing donations to the Albert J. Boro Community Center. All community programs are cancelled over the weekend, and will resume on Monday.

Thank you to the City staff who have worked tirelessly over the last two days to convert a community center into a living space for over 50 people, the case management team from Canal Alliance for working diligently to place everyone into housing, as well as the numerous other organizations and volunteers who stepped in to ensure everyone was well fed, had clean clothes, medications, and the resources they needed.
