On December 22, 2025 San Rafael firefighters assisted the Novato Fire District at a three story multi family dwelling building fire on Ignacio Blvd. In the photo, San Rafael firefighters are ascending the aerial ladder of Truck 54 to perform ventilation operations on the roof. Although the fire was confined to the apartment of origin, units to the side and below as well as the roof sustained damage. There were no injuries but several residents were displaced due to the damage.
