The City is currently conducting a survey with a randomly selected group of community members. Participation is voluntary, and individual responses will remain confidential. Not all residents will be contacted, as the survey uses a random sampling approach. The survey will remain open for a limited period while data collection is underway.

RVs and Oversized Vehicles

In response to the widespread and significant number of complaints regarding recreational and oversized vehicles utilizing multiple parking spaces and dumping trash illegally, parking Recreational Vehicles (RVs) on city streets is prohibited and oversized/commercial vehicles are limited to 1-hour parking. This type of parking can create health and safety hazards, block lines of sight, and create ingress and egress obstructions for pedestrians, bicyclists, other drivers, and emergency vehicles.

Effective September 19, 2016:

RVs may not park on public streets citywide (except when a temporary permit has been issued by the Parking Services office).

Oversized vehicles/Commercial vehicles may not park on public streets citywide for more than one (1) hour (except if actively loading or unloading).

Loading/unloading of large or heavy items including, without limitation, salvaged vehicles, vehicle parts, and heavy machinery, on the public streets is prohibited.

Vehicles in violation of the ordinance may be subject to citation and/or being towed.
