It basically means unless it falls into one of the categories, the work cannot be issued or cannot continue. The spirit of the Order to stop unnecessary activities and contact between people.
A simple test, ask yourself these questions,
- “Will anyone be will be killed, injured, or made ill if the work is stopped, delayed, or doesn’t occur right now? If the answer is “No” then the work must stop. If in doubt, stop the work and contact the building official for a determination.
- “Can the work stop and be made reasonable safe and secure to prevent illness, injury, or death? If so, then the work needs to be stopped and made safe and secure.
