Exciting changes are coming to one of San Rafael’s most beloved parks! The City of San Rafael invites the community to celebrate the completion of the Pickleweed Park Enhancement Project on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Pickleweed Park.
The festivities kick off at 5 PM with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by guided park tours, field games, and community activity booths. Visitors will get a first look at the park’s many new features, including a revitalized play area, outdoor exercise equipment, an upgraded soccer field, and more improvements designed to enhance recreation and community connection.
As evening falls, the celebration continues with a free outdoor movie screening of Mufasa (en Español) starting around 7 PM. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, snacks, and lawn chairs for a cozy night under the stars.
