City staff is proposing an innovative and customer-friendly way to interact with zoning and permitting information. At Monday’s meeting, the City Council will consider authorizing the City’s use of OpenCounter, an online platform that brings together the simplicity of form and function for zoning and permitting. The software assists those looking to undertake renovation, expansion and relocation projects, or open a new business in San Rafael.  From the comfort of your own home or office, users can access zoning requirements, fees, and processing times that will apply to their planned use and location.
