San Rafael, CA – Following a nationwide search, the City of San Rafael is pleased to announce Nadine Atieh Hade as their Administrative Services Director. Nadine brings over 18 years of experience from both the private and public sector finance sectors garnered from financial services institutions across the Bay Area. Nadine previously served as the City’s Finance Director and held that role since 2018.
Assistant City Manager Cristine Alilovich shares her accolades for Nadine’s many accomplishments: “Nadine is an innovative leader who embodies the team oriented, professional culture we strive for here at the City of San Rafael. She has excellent work ethic, integrity, and has served the City exceptionally well in her 4 years as Finance Director.” Under Nadine’s leadership, the Finance Department has received several professional industry achievements recognizing the Department’s excellence in financial reporting.
Nadine’s strong professional experience, including labor negotiations, risk management and process improvement, made her a natural candidate for the recently established Administrative Services Director position. The new role will oversee the Finance and Human Resources Departments, managing a staff of 13 full time employees.
“Both Finance and Human Resources work towards a common goal,” said Nadine. “This position gives us the opportunity to work more closely together, further strengthen collaboration, and create more efficient processes all to better serve our community.”
Nadine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with dual concentrations in finance and accounting from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. A resident of San Rafael, Nadine also serves on the City of San Rafael Fire commission. Nadine’s starting salary will be $16,908 per month.
