A. Project Schedule and Next Steps – Staff will lay out next steps and expected milestones as the Downtown Precise Plan, General Plan, and EIR are completed and brought forward for public hearings. Recommended time allowance: 10 minutes

Presentation and Discussion of Draft General Plan Policies – Project Manager Barry Miller will provide an overview of the integrated and revised General Plan guiding principles, goals, policies, and programs. Input from Steering Committee members will be solicited. Recommended time allowance: 60 minutes

C. Parting Thoughts On Our Future – Since this is the last formal meeting of the General Plan 2040 Steering Committee, members will be asked to share their parting thoughts. This may include perspectives on the lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as other issues about San Rafael’s future raised over the course of the last two years. Recommended time allowance: 30 minutes

PURSUANT TO COMMITTEE BYLAWS ADOPTED BY THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 4, 2017, ALL GENERAL PLAN COMMITTEE MEETINGS WILL END NO LATER THAN 9.00 PM.

* Any records relating to an Agenda Item, received by a majority or more of the board or commission less than 72 hours before the meeting, shall be available for inspection in the CDD Dept, at 1400 Fifth Ave, Third Floor, San Rafael, CA
* Sign Language and interpretation and assistive listening devices may be requested by calling (415) 485-3066 (voice), emailing Lindsay.lara@cityofsanrafael.org, or using the California Telecommunications Relay Service by dialing “711” at least 72 hours in advance. Copies of documents are available in accessible formats upon request.
