The Marina Vista neighborhood will be dredging the privately-owned waterway known as the Marina Vista Canal. It is located near the San Rafael Canal, across from Pickleweed Park. For this work, a barge with dredging equipment will be stationed in the area with work to occur during the City’s standard construction hours. Seasonal restrictions for environmental protection require the dredging work must be completed by November 30th. Other agencies, such as the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC), the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), and Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) have issued permits for this project.
