An emergency go bag is a portable kit with supplies you can use if you need to leave your home quickly during an emergency. It usually includes basics like water, food, a flashlight, first aid supplies, and medications. But every go bag should be home-dependent and tailored to your family’s needs, such as items for older parents, children, pets, or medical equipment.
While our crossword highlights a few suggested items, you can find a full list of recommended supplies at Ready.gov/kit.
