Paramedic Nurse Educator & Quality Program Manager:The City of San Rafael Fire Department is seeking to fill a Paramedic Nurse Educator & Quality Program Manager position (Part-Time). This position will be split between two sites: San Rafael Fire Department (20 hours per week) and Kaiser San Rafael Trauma Program (4 hours). The primary responsibilities are to provide a year-round continuing education program and to develop and maintain a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program for the approximately 70 paramedics and EMTs of the San Rafael Fire Department. At least two days per week at fire Station 51 in Downtown San Rafael will be required with an option to spend remaining hours working remotely and attending required meetings that occur off site. The successful applicant will work closely with and be supervised by San Rafael Fire's medical director and the training batalion chief.
