The San Rafael Fire Department will launch the final phase of its Safe Parking Program during the first week of December. In collaboration with the City’s Traffic Engineer and Parking Services, staff have developed plans to maintain safe access on any remaining hilly and/ or narrow roads while preserving as much legal parking as possible to minimize impacts on residents. As crews install new curb paint and signage, please follow all posted information and take a moment to familiarize yourself with any new parking regulations. During this transition, Parking Services will issue warnings instead of citations in newly designated areas.
