Marin People’s Climate March & Rally

This Saturday, April 29th, Marin County will join hundreds of communities around the country and the world as it mobilizes as part of the People’s Climate Movement, marching for Climate Awareness & Justice.

At 11am, we gather on the steps of San Rafael City Hall. At 11:15, we march to the San Anselmo Hub for a peaceful vigil and protest. At 12:45pm, we move to nearby Creek Park for a rally that features speakers such as the dynamic, renowned environmentalist and Congressional candidate, Erin Schrode; Dr. David Ainley, senior scientist and expert on climate impacts to ecological systems, in addition to number of environmental and social justice activists from local schools and organizations.

We call on our neighbors throughout Marin to all join us this Saturday as we show up and stand up against the dangerous political reversal on climate action that increasingly is putting the future of our communities and our families at risk.

We look forward to seeing Marin turn out at this critical moment to demand that our society and our government, acknowledge and address this defining challenge of our era.
