Coastal Clean Up Day Photos

Join us on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to noon for Coastal Cleanup Day is a great way for families, students and neighbors to take care of our fragile marine environment and have fun! Volunteers help remove trash and recyclables from beaches, waterways and surrounding areas.

Pickleweed Marsh – Meet at Schoen Park where Canal Street becomes Spinnaker Point Dr.

Starkweather Shoreline Path – Meet outside the Target store at 1215 Shoreline Parkway.

San Rafael Creek by Kayak – 101 Surf Sports @ 115 Third Street. Free rental of a kayak or paddle board. You must call ahead to reserve a spot, no drop-ins.  Contact 101 Surf Sports at 415-524-8492.

Gallinas Creek/Land-based cleanup – Meet at the McInnis Park boat ramp at 310 Smith Ranch Road.

Gallinas  Creek/ Canoe or Kayak – Note special time: 10:30 to 12:30.  Meet at the McInnis Park boat ramp at 310 Smith Ranch Road.  Bring your own canoe or kayak and life preserver.  Get more information for the Gallinas Creek boat cleanup or contact Alex by email or by phone at (415) 578-2580.
