Climate Action Community Forum October 19, 2023

Quarterly community update meetings on the implementation of the City’s Climate Change Action Plan hosted by City Councilmember Maika Llorens Gulati.  These meetings are generally held the 3rd Thursday of the month each January, April, July, and October at 4pm.

The October 19 meeting agenda includes:

• Armando Quintero, State Parks Director: updates on climate action at the State and State Parks
• Transportation Authority of Marin: clean mobility projects and activities
• MCE’s new $1 million grant for equitable clean mobility grant project
• City Bicycle and Pedestrian projects and Advisory Committee updates
• City Sustainability updates, including workforce and economic development
• Meet the new Climate Action Fellows and learn about their projects involving organics recycling, tree projects, and volunteer engagement

Meetings are held in the 3^rd floor conference room at City Hall, 1400 5^th Avenue, downtown San Rafael. Please join us in person if you can!
