Join us for an essential CERT refresher training focused on Disaster Medical Operations Part 1. This hands-on session will help you maintain and sharpen the critical medical skills needed to respond effectively in emergency situations.

What You’ll Learn

During this 90-minute refresher course, participants will:

• Refresh Life-Saving Medical Skills – Review and practice essential techniques for emergency medical response in disaster scenarios
• Airway Obstruction Management – Practice proper procedures for clearing blocked airways and ensuring patient breathing
• Severe Bleeding Control – Master techniques for stopping life-threatening hemorrhages using direct pressure, pressure points, and tourniquets
• Shock Recognition and Treatment – Learn to identify symptoms of shock and apply appropriate interventions to stabilize patients
• Triage Principles – Understand systematic approaches to prioritizing multiple casualties for maximum community benefit

This refresher is for CERT graduates only. This course is designed for volunteers who have completed the basic CERT training and want to maintain their skills and stay prepared for community emergency response.
