All Encroachment Permits Suspended
The City of San Rafael Public Works Department has issued an Emergency suspension of all permits, with regard to the ongoing Shelter-in-Place order, and pursuant Municipal Code Section 11.04.030.130.
All permit holders shall require approval prior to reactivation of their permit. Permit holders who do not intend to work are also requested to notify the City. To allow staff to respond quickly, please use the following form.
All construction projects shall adhere to social distancing requirements. Maintaining 6-foot distancing between individuals. Frequently washing hands. Covering coughs and sneezes. Equipment and tools are not to be shared unless it is immediately necessary. Travel to and from the job site must also comply with the order.
Requests for inspections may only be submitted online if you submitted the reactivation form and were approved by public works staff.
