This past Friday, the San Rafael Fire Department partnered with Program Coordinator Azadeh Honarmand from San Rafael Recreation and the San Rafael Goldenaires to host an important presentation on emergency preparedness for older adults and caregivers. The event brought together community members to learn about emergency alerts, creating personal emergency plans, and preparing essential emergency supplies specifically tailored to the needs of seniors during emergencies. Participants also enjoyed playing Loteria (bingo) featuring 45 recommended go bag items, making it an interactive and memorable way to learn about emergency preparedness supplies.
