The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin the first of three 55-hour weekend closures for the 101 NB Central San Rafael Off-Ramp Bridge Replacement project. The first closure will start on Friday, March 19 at 10:00 PM and reopen on Monday, March 22 at 5:00 AM.
Detours will be in place; please see the map and detour directions below to assist motorists traveling in the area. This work is a part of several on-going construction projects along US-101, starting at the Golden Gate Bridge, progressing through Sausalito, and concluding in San Rafael until early winter of 2021. Advisories will be issued for each phase of work, and updates can be found at the Caltrans project website.
