April Miller

April Miller, the City’s first woman Public Works Director, brings years of experience from both the public and private sector, most recently as the Assistant Director of Public Works/City Engineer where she oversees our Capital Improvement Program. Prior to working for San Rafael, April worked as a Project Manager for BKF Engineers. April has experience managing complex development projects including urban streetscape rehabilitation, public and private development sites, trails and parks, schools, utility infrastructure, libraries, and more. April has a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Davis and is a licensed professional engineer.
