2020 Sewer Repair Project – Phase 2 (Sanitation District)

To complete repair and replacement of deteriorated sewer main, sewer laterals, and manholes.

Phase 1 of the project was five urgent repairs that were completed in 2021. Phase 2 consists of repairing and replacing short segments of pipes between manholes, which total approximately 2.3 miles of sewer main. The pipe sizes range from 6 inches to 21 inches in diameter. This project also includes the replacement of 210 laterals and rehabilitation of 27 manholes, located in the Dominican, Gerstle Park, Downtown, and Francisco Boulevard West neighborhoods, which will take approximately ten months to complete.
