Neighborhoods

San Rafael is a city of neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is one of the basic social units and physical building blocks of San Rafael. Surrounded by great natural beauty, San Rafael’s neighborhoods form a quilt of homes, shops, churches, schools and parks that together create the distinct character of the overall city.
