How to get a library card

To get a library card you need to fill-out a short application at the check-out desk, and to present picture ID (driver's license or a passport, for example) and proof of your current address. Proof of current address can be a bill in your name, a lease/rental agreement, or something else that has come to you in the mail.

For children, parents fill out an application. A parent's signature is required for a child to obtain a library card.

Your card will be valid at all Marin county public libraries.
