The San Rafael Redevelopment Agency, in a Resolution passed on January 28, 1974, designated the role of the Citizens Advisory Committee on Redevelopment with the following findings and purpose:
1. The Agency has established the Central San Rafael Redevelopment Project and has embarked on a Redevelopment Program within the City of San Rafael. The program will have, over the period of its life, a significant impact on the community as a whole, and particularly upon that area of the community within the project boundaries.
2. It is the desire of the Agency to have the benefit of input and advice from the community in the formulation of the Agency's programs and activities, and this advice can best be directed to the Agency's attention through the formation of a Citizens Advisory Committee.
The committee meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public.
