STREET MAINTENANCE
The Street Division performs maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and the storm drain system infrastructures. Maintenance consists of paving, pot hole repairs, traffic sign maintenance, guard rail repairs, sidewalk (including curb and gutter) repairs, sidewalk management, weed abatement, and other street maintenance activities that improve the public good.
STREET SWEEPING. Streets are swept on a regular schedule every other week, or more frequently. Maps of the sweeper routes and their schedules can be found by following this link.
STREET PAINTING/STRIPING. Street painting consists of maintaining the city’s street markings such as stop bars, legends, fog lines, bike lanes, curb markings, American with Disabilities (ADA) markings and centerlines. The Street painting crew also maintains markings at parking lots of City Buildings
