Incident Activity

Community Policing is a vital part of the San Rafael Police Department.  We strive to continue to communicate and work with the Community to help solve problems in the City.

Incident Activity

Each year the San Rafael Police Department responds to and initiates more than 40,000 calls for service.  Calls for service include 911 telephone calls, non-emergency telephone calls, walk-ins at the Police Department, and officer initiated calls such as traffic stops.

To respond to calls for service efficiently, the City is divided into seven geographic beats.  Officers respond to calls for service based on the call priority.  Incident information for the past 90 days is available using the links below.  The information is updated each evening.
