Preschool Programs are offered at Parkside and Pickleweed Children's Centers. These early childhood programs serve children three to five years old in a supportive, caring environment, with activities that will nurture your child's self esteem, foster the joy of learning and create a positive beginning school experience.
School-Age Programs serve all San Rafael City Schools and Dixie District elementary schools. Each center is staffed with highly talented, qualified, professional staff. Our calendar follows local school schedules offering extended hours during minimum days and full days during school holidays. Before-school care is offered at many sites, as early as 7:00 a.m. All programs are open until 6:30 p.m.
School-Age program highlights include: homework assistance, arts and crafts projects, sports, indoor and outdoor games, cooking, music and dramatic play. A snack is served daily.
Children are enrolled on a month-to-month basis. Tuition is based on a block rate for the days your child is enrolled. Drop-in enrollment is available for those families that have an occasional need for after-school care. Please note that our centers have a licensed capacity and program enrollment is first-come, first-served, so please call the center early, as many centers have waiting lists.
