City of San Rafael

Finance oversees Business Licenses, Cashiering (including Parking payments), Transient Occupancy Tax (also known as hotel tax), Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.  Finance also conducts periodic cost studies used to formulate the Master Fee Schedule for the City's fee-based services.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
