Sonnen VW/Audi & Nissan Dealerships
Proposing remodel of VW/Audi to a Nissan dealership at 740 W. Francisco Blvd. and new VW/Audi dealership next door at 700 W. Francisco Blvd.

Planning Commission approved new Audi/VW dealership on November 13, 2007.  Reviewing building permit submittal.

Planning Commission continued the Nissan dealership for consideration of noise mitigation to benefit the adjacent RV park residents.  Awaiting the applicant’s response to reschedule for Planning Commission decision.

137,000 sf store east of Home Depot on vacant 19-acre lot in the Shoreline Center.

Design Review Board has reviewed and endorsed revised project design.  Draft EIR released for 45-day public review on September 8.  Planning Commission hearing on the Draft EIR will occur on October 28, 2008.  Planning Commission and City Council hearings on the project and the Final EIR should occur in Winter ’09.

City Council approved the project on October 6, 2008.  Building permit application filed and under review.
