Golden Gate Transit provides daily bus service within Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco and Contra Costa counties. Golden Gate Ferry provides daily ferry service between Larkspur or Sausalito (Marin County) and San Francisco.
They offer free rides the 1st Friday of each month and are giving away
free shuttle tickets to the first 100 people who respond to the survey
at the above link.
