There are 4 types of business license applications. Please choose the appropriate type for your business.
In Town Business License - for stores, home offices, and other physical locations within city limits
Out of Town Business License - for businesses such as contractors and gardeners from outside city limits
Property Business License - for apartments or other rental properties
Film Shoot Business License - for filming on public or private property

Important News: Beginning in mid-November, renewal notices were mailed to all businesses that currently have a license on file with the city. Renewals were due January 1, 2008. Those received after February 15, 2008 are considered past due, and penalties are being applied (10% of the tax due per month up to 60%). In addition, Administrative Citations of $325 (or more for repeat offenses) may be issued to delinquent businesses.
If you relocate your business from one location to another within city limits, you must fill out a new business license application which will be reviewed by zoning and fire safety officials. A processing fee must be included with the application ($96 for a commercial location; $64 for a residential location).
